I Need A New Phone
Friends,
I haven’t held on to a phone for more than a year. It’s unheard of. Usually within 6 months, I’d get phone itch and start wanting to get a new phone. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a cell phone junkie, in fact I NEVER buy those high-end expensive phones. I never invest in good phones mainly because I’m a klutz, and I have a tendency to drop my phones on a regular basis. I usually put it in my pocket, so within a week, it’s already scratched by the keys and the coins and stuff. In fact, many people never forgave me for buying a 3310, not once, not twice, but THRICE!

Believe it or not, I’d get rid of the old 3310, just to buy a new one, that looks exactly like the old one. Like I always said, I was never a techie until recently when I got into photography and blogging and I decided to start learning about technical stuff. I never bought a phone that was more expensive than 10-15k. I had a fancy phone once, but only because it was given to me.
Now I come to a dilemma. My current phone is my most favorite of all. Not so much because it’s a great phone, it is though, it’s just not the reason I love it. It’s very special for sentimental reasons (let’s not get into details…). So by November, I would’ve owned this phone for 2 years, a personal record by a mile. In fact, I had no plans to replace it for as long as it worked. Unfortunately, it’s been conking out and it’s been having problems, so I’ve come to the decision to finally replace my favorite phone EVER. It’s a Nokia 5300, by the way.

So now, I have no idea what phone to buy. I’ve been out of the loop when it comes to phone technology, so I’m drawing a blank. I don’t want those 30-40k fancy phones that come with latte machines and personal masseuses, I just need a sturdy, nice-looking, reliable mobile phone. It should just have nice big keypads, long battery life, not too heavy, not too big, not plasticky, nice music capabilities and EXTRA strong vibra mode…hehehe. And it shouldn’t break into pieces the first time I drop it.
I tried surfing the net, checking out the different phones of the different brands, and I was swamped — too many choices! So I ask you…what do you suggest?
xoxo,
Lonely Phone-y
