I left the house and found some markers!
Hi friends! Last week I had a rather interesting assignment. The folks at Ohuhu hired me to check out my local Michaels store and see what the new Ohuhu display looked like and what they had in stock. They asked me to film a video showing what I bought and what I made with the supplies. They really had to twist my arm too, LOL! Big thanks to my friend Karen who did my in-store filming for me! Check out the video to shop, unbox, and create with me!
You should be able to find the products I used in a Michaels store near you. Bangor, Maine is a relatively small city so you may have more selection if your city is larger. If you don’t have a Michaels near you you can always find these products on the Ohuhu Website. I wanted to mention that the colors in the 120 set in the white case differ from the 120 markers in the black case. They revamped the selection to better meet customer preferences. Below is a swatch of the color available in the Michaels sets:

Our Michaels didn’t have the blue, green, and violet six-packs, but I can see they will be popular! I can’t say whether Michael’s sets or the sets available on the Ohuhu website will be a better fit for you. I am glad they are available in-store at a major retailer because online shopping is not available, or desired, by all customers. I like how you can pick up an affordable 6 pack locally and save shipping to try out a brand of markers before taking a gamble on a big set. We are all different artists and not everyone will enjoy the same thing. It’s also nice to know that should you love the markers you can get more markers, ink refills, and replacement nibs from Ohuhu to keep your investment going for the long haul.

If you liked the artwork I created today you can find a real-time tutorial in Critique Club. Here is the tutorial that I did on using a colorless blender I mentioned in the video. It’s free on YouTube and if you are confused about how it works this will provide clarity. I hope you enjoyed this video and til next time happy crafting!
