HPU Hires Coach

With the sudden departure of Head Coach Joshua Gerig last month, HPU needed to scramble to find a new coach and they have stayed in-house. Today, the school has announced that former Graduate Assistant Nick Noll will be the Interim Head Coach for the 2025 season.

Coach Noll was with the program the last two seasons and it makes sense to stay within the program this close to the start of the season. It also make sense as the Gerig/Noll combination has led HPU to some of their best seasons in a number of years.

This is a great opportunity for a young coach and I wish him and the program nothing but success. Hopefully, I’ll be writing about the removal of the “interim” tag next year.
