How do you know what media to add on watercolor?
Hi friends! As you probably know, watercolor is my favorite medium, BUT I really love watercolor along with other media. Mixed media refers to any art that is made with two or more art materials (not including the surface/substrate), and it is a wonderful way to expand the limitations of watercolor.

I did a livestream yesterday where I demonstrated using colored pencils, gouache, pastel pencils, fine liners, paint pens, ink, and gel pens over the traditional watercolors I taught in 30 Days to Better Watercolor. Shameless plug, but it’s at 50% off for Launch Month Special through Sunday! Check out the video below to watch yesterday’s livestream and learn more about mixing your materials for the most benefit!
