Ho99o9 (pronounced “Horror”) is an experimental music group known for blending elements of punk, hardcore, hip-hop, and industrial music. Formed in 2012, the band was started by two New Jersey natives, theOGM (Jean Lebrun) and Eaddy (Terrence Nicholson). Their music is characterized by intense, aggressive energy and a boundary-pushing style that draws influences from a wide range of genres, as well as themes of chaos, rebellion, and societal critique.

Ho99o9’s sound fuses hardcore punk’s raw aggression with hip-hop’s rhythm and lyricism, often featuring distorted beats, heavy bass, and shouted or screamed vocals. They are influenced by bands like Bad Brains, Death Grips, and Black Flag, as well as hip-hop acts like Public Enemy and Wu-Tang Clan. Their lyrics often tackle topics such as systemic oppression, identity, mental health, and political corruption. Thematically, they blend horror imagery and social commentary, creating a dark yet thought-provoking atmosphere. “Hate Crimes” is taken from the album Dead bodies in the lake (2015).
