Haggus is a grindcore band from Oakland, California, formed in 2014. They are known for their unique blend of mincecore, goregrind, and punk, characterized by downtuned guitars, gurgling vocals, and a DIY ethos. The band draws inspiration from pioneers like Agathocles and has been influential in the resurgence of the mincecore genre. They are also known for their energetic live performances and distinctive use of ski masks, paying homage to their mincecore roots and the Animal Liberation Front .
