Got a week? Try The Plant Paradox
Are you up for losing 10 pounds, no longer being hungry, and having an increase in energy in one week? I’m suggesting that you try the Plant Paradox diet. There is no cost and here’s how.

There is list of foods you can eat called the Yes list. There is a list of foods you can’t eat called (you guessed it) the No list. Eat all you want of anything on the Yes list but most importantly, avoid items on the No list. You can get the lists just be googling them but for lifestyle change you’ll need to understand the system (so read the book). It’s inspiring.
Here’s the ultra short version on how it works. The Plant Paradox diet suggests avoiding all foods containing lectins. Your body can’t digest lectins (gluten is a lectin), they pass thru your stomach wall, and create havoc downstream in your body. By eating foods that stay in your digestive track you can eliminate the foods that are harming you.
A few tasty foods on the Yes list: Any wild caught seafood, Salmon, Cod, Swordfish, Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, Scallops, Clams, Canned Tuna, Avocado, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Lettuce, Raspberries, Olive oil, Walnuts, Egg Whites, any spice, and many Quest bars.

Drink water, coffee, tea, and have lots of salads. If you can get past 3 days you’ll start seeing the effects and weight loss. No excuses, just try it – it’s not that hard. You can still put a little creamer in your coffee and you don’t have to be perfect. There are wonderful substitutes such as goat cheese in lieu of other cheeses. You can have 6oz of wine and an ounce of 70% or greater chocolate daily. The most amazing part of this is that your appetite will vanish. You literally have to learn to stop eating when your not hungry. Also, your energy level will improve as well as your ability to sleep.
Steven R. Gundry is an American doctor and author. He is a former cardiac surgeon and currently runs his own clinic, investigating the impact of diet on health. Gundry conducted cardiac surgery research in the 1990s and was a pioneer in infant heart transplant surgery, and is a New York Times best-selling author of The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers in “Healthy” Foods That Cause Disease and Weight Gain. He claims that lectins, a type of plant protein found in numerous foods, cause inflammation resulting in many modern diseases.

This works. I follow it. I continue to re-listen to the book because each time I get ideas and have more perspective. This is a permeant lifestyle change. Try it and ask me any questions.
