Hometown: Warrenton, Virginia

High School: Kettle Run High School

Sport: Basketball

Position: Guard

Commitment: Mount Aloysius College

Why He Chose Mount Aloysius: “The reason that I chose Mount Aloysius is because it just felt like home as soon as I got there. They made sure I felt at home and Coach Marcus always made an effort to reach out and check in on me.”

Previous School: Penn Highlands Community College

Intended Major and Future Plans: Psychology major and he intends to get a master’s degree in school counseling and eventually go back to school to get more education and become a therapist.

Return to College Basketball: Riddle took this season off from college basketball and returned home to Virginia. His mental health has taken a turn for the worse, but over the last several months, he’s gotten his life back on track and is excited about returning to central Pennsylvania and hitting the floor for the Mount Aloysius Mounties. Even through the loss of a good friend and spending time back at home, he stayed on track academically and is excited about finishing a degree in the coming years and making the most of the time remaining as a college athlete before entering the workforce. “I tried to push through it, but ultimately I ended up falling in a mental hole and one day I had decided that it was time to finally take care of myself and work through it the right way instead of trying to stuff it all down. One message I want everyone and every athlete to remember is that “You Matter”. no matter how small or big a problem you face is, don’t be afraid to reach out or ask for help.”
