The institution is located in Geneva, New York along the Finger Lakes. Historically, the women attending the institution attended William Smith and women’s sports competed under this college name. The men historically attended Hobart and competed under the Hobart name. While sports remain with this identity, men and women enroll in courses offered by Hobart and William Smith to accommodate their schedules and academic interests. The Hobart Statesmen are members of NCAA Division I in lacrosse and compete in the Atlantic 10 (A10) Conference.

Why He Chose Hobart College: “An awesome campus with a great career development and amazing alumni base.”

What True Lacrosse and Old Line Elite Lacrosse Clubs Have Meant: “True was there for me for a long time. I went through two position changes and didn’t make the national A team my first year trying out. Eventually, a new coach, Kevin McDonough, took over and he was the first coach to put his faith in me and let me have a true shot at playing. As for Old Line, it’s a new program that began last year. The organization and coaches have helped me tremendously. They’ve put us in the best tournaments and maximized exposure with their great connections.”

His Support System: “I can’t thank my parents Jeff and Tara Craft enough for the countless hours of help with all sports growing up. They never put any pressure on me growing up and let me play any sports that I wanted.”

Nearly Never Playing Lacrosse: “I almost quit lacrosse after my first practice because I couldn’t figure out how to cradle. I just wanted to play baseball because I still really enjoyed playing at the time. As time has gone on, it’s safe to say I made the right decision sticking with lacrosse.”
