Commitment: Division III football at Endicott College, a Division III institution located in Beverly, Massachusetts. The college is home to around 4,300 total students and competes in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

Position: Defensive Back in college, although he excelled on both offense and defense in high school.

Football Accolades: Four-year varsity starter and letter winner, Three-year two-way starter, three-time all-region, two-time District 10 champion, two school records (most receiving yards in a game and longest receiving touchdown), team captain, VFW Leadership Award recipient.

Track and Field Accolades: Six-time District 10 medalist (two-time 100m, 200m, 4x400m, and 4x100m), three-time team captain, two-time District 10 team champion, region runner of the year. He also did not compete in the 2023 track and field season due to injury.

Academic Achievements and Interests: High honor roll student and interested in pursuing a major in biology/bioengineering on a pre-medicine track. He hopes to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and become an orthopedic surgeon.

Why He Chose Endicott College: “Coach Kevin Bracken, the current defensive coordinator at Endicott, began recruiting me my sophomore year while he was at Bucknell. We have established a great relationship over the years. When he got the job at Endicott, I went up to visit and was simply blown away by the facilities, the family atmosphere, and the academic opportunity. All of which led to my decision in choosing Endicott over a lot of Division II offers I had.”

Favorite Athletic Memories: Going through camps every year with his best friends and defeating fellow Mercer County foe and rival, Sharon, in the 2023 District 10 Class AAA championship game.

People Who Pushed and Supported Him Most: His parents Heather and Pat Scullin, Coach Bill Dungee the Hickory Hornets football staff, and many family members and friends. His truest hero is his grandfather, Dr. John Scullin. He played Division I football in the Ivy League at Cornell University before beginning a successful career as an orthopedic surgeon that has spanned more than 50 years.
