Favorite Running Memories: My best running memories were early mornings on the trails with the crisp cool air and the silence of the morning. Just long runs with the boys talking about anything and everything. Those were the longest distance runs but always seemed to fly by the fastest. Some of the other best memories were coming home for summer and winter break to run with Harley Thompson, Jake Carnovale, Joe Wolfe, and some other high school teammates.”
His Support System: My high school coach Harley Thompson; my high school teammates Jake Carnovale and Joe Wolfe; my brother Logan and sister Sydney; my girlfriend Mary (Kiki) Thornton; and my roommates Nick Fetzer and Ian Thrush.
Final Notes: “Running was and still is one of my greatest passions. Even through the adversity with the injuries and ups and downs, I wouldn’t change all of the lessons I learned and the people I met. I’m so grateful to all who helped along the way!”
