Get those brushes wet with a real-time beginner-friendly tutorial on choppy waves!
Hi friends! I am so pleased to learn that many of you are receiving the brushes you ordered from my collaboration with CraftAmo. It is so fun to see them in your studio when you tagged me and hear your first impressions of them. I wanted to share a tutorial I filmed using the large flat and dagger brush from the set. these brushes are so versatile for landscapes and seascapes. Feel free to use the brushes you have on hand!

This video is real-time but if you are a beginner you might want to watch it through once and then paint along pausing as needed. Painting should be fun and relaxing. Enjoy!
supplies: (affiliate links used)
Phoenix artist tube watercolors or you can get these in pans if you prefer. *you will need a palette if using the tubes, a plate will work fine or this is what I have.
Watercolor paper: I used a handmade sketchbook from artsirosi on ETSY. It is made with Arches cold press paper.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and had a nice relaxing time painting it. I want to ask a favor before you go. If you purchased my brushes I would so so grateful if you would leave a review after you have used them to let others know how they are. I think they’re wonderful but I want to know what you think too! I really appreciate it! Til next time happy crafting!
