Gen.G won the 2024 League of Legends MSI tournament yesterday. They went 3-0 in the winner’s bracket throughout the tournament to reach the grand finals. In the finals they played Bilibilli Gaming in a rematch of the the round four winners bracket series.

Much like the first series Gen.G took the championship series best of five 3-1 to secure their first MSI title. The loss is the second year in a row that Bilibili Gaming fell short in the MSI finals. They lost to fellow LPL rival JD Gaming at MSI 203.

Gen.G qualified for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship with the win. They will look to defend their LCK title from the spring as well.

Bilibili Gaming will work to defend their LPL title from spring during the upcoming summer split. Though with back-to-back MSI title losses and a run to the semi-finals at Worlds last year look for them to be hungry to qualify for Worlds this season.
