GAME ON?: 2020 Fall NCAA championships not canceled

The NCAA Board of Governors did not vote to cancel 2020 fall championships today. The DIII women’s volleyball championship is still slated to begin with regionals Nov. 12 before the final eight teams convene Nov. 19-21 in Columbus, Ohio. However, the Board of Governors will revisit the fate of fall championships again in August.

An unofficial list of 247 (among nearly 440) DIII women’s volleyball institutions had already opted out of playing this season before the Board of Governors decision was made public.
