Fun kid’s art projects with markers!
Hi friends! With snowdays, holidays, and school vacations coming up I thought I would share some fun projects you can make with the children in your life. All you need are markers, crayons, sturdy paper, and basic supplies! Watch the video and then craft with some youngsters!
This video is sponsored by Ohuhu and features their new Kainani Washable Stamper Kids Dual Tips Water-based Markers. To save 10% on all products on the Ohuhu website, use coupon code Kidscrafter10, which offers a 10% discount and can be used through 8/14/25. You can find the Kainani Kids Washable Markers on the Ohuhu website and on Amazon.
Supplies:
Cardstock
Crepe paper (white party streamers) or white basket-style coffee filters
Scissors or Circle punch
Non-porous surface to act as a palette

Tip: If you don’t have white party streamers you can cut tissue paper into strips or cut a white basket-style coffee filter into a spiral and roll it up just like I did with the crepe paper.

Little Skills: Kids can learn fine motor control, hand-eye coordination and the alphabet by tracing letters like we did in the Happy Birthday card!

Tip: Place a piece of craft foam under your paper when stamping for best results. If you don’t have craft foam a magazine placed under your paper can add a bit of cushion.

I hope you enjoyed these fun projects and they give you some ideas the next time the kids say “I’m bored!” Happy crafting!
