Update: Reverse sweep for LETU.

Wittenberg gets swept by Mount Union.

Concordia with a 4-set win over UMHB. Every team is going to want their pound of flesh from the Cru this year.

It’s kind of annoying to be on the west coast and having to deal with these central timezones.

Whittier sweeps Chapman. Whittier playing tough.

Another reverse sweep. Cal Lu beats La Verne.

Linfield beats PLU and Puget Sound beats George Fox on the road. I have no clue how the NWC or the ASC will play out.

Random Thoughts: Traveling today and I should be on the West Coast by the time matches get played. Updates will be minimal.

We’ve got three conferences going tonight – ASC, NWC and SCIAC.

Sul Ross State/LeTourneau – These are two teams I had in my second tier and trying for one of two spots (I think will be available) in the ASC Tournament. Give me the home team – LETU.

HSU/ETBU – Here are two teams in my top tier. ETBU is coming off a disappointing loss to UTD. I think they hold home court against the number 1 team in conference right now.

UMHB/Concordia – UMHB needs this win and I think they get it on the road.

Puget Sound/GFU – A good one. UPS looked great week one of conference but I think GFU takes this one at home.

Pomona-Pitzer/Caltech – What’s fascinating about this one is that it’s Caltech’s first DIII match of the year. Pomona should win this one.

Oxy/CMS – I wrote about a potential upset in this match in my musings on Thursday. Of course, CMS will not always be out of system and Oxy won’t always be in system. So, give me CMS in an easy one.

La Verne/Cal Lu – Huge positioning match assuming these teams both make the SCIAC Tournament. I think ULV wins this on the road but Cal Lu has won their last 4 and are good at home.

Whittier/Chapman – Give me Chapman at home.
