Friday, Sep 20 Match Day!

Update: I’m a little sunburned today. Does anyone else worry about what their dermatologist would say when they go on vacation. I live in fear.

Looks like both links for ULV/UWW were wrong. The problem with doing this stuff so early. ULV is up 2-0 on Whitewater so go Leopards! A clean weekend probably moves them into the Top 5. I haven’t been able to get the video to work to that match. Whoops. Looks like Live Stats is backward. UWW is up 2-0.

MIT is up 2-0 on UCSC but Slugs are leading early in the third set.

Anyone else having ULV/UWW video issues? Maybe it’s just my location prevents watching.

La Verne loses 3-0. Not a great night for Mya Ray. Tough Whitewater team.

WordPress is having problems tonight. I’m having to jump through hoops to update scores.

LETU giving UT-Dallas all they can handle tonight but UTD is still up 2-1.

CC up 2-0 on St Thomas.

Please use the links tonight for scores/video. I’ll have to update tomorrow.

I guess HPU was up 2-1 as they won 3-1. Nice win (although it doesn’t count) for HPU. Shows how well the program is progressing. (Oh, and I’m awake again. Long sleep after taxing day.)

Nice bounce back for La Verne. They dropped the first set but then won 3-1. The Ray, Gott, Whiteman train was rolling in this one.

The NWC didn’t have any real surprises. It does look like Willamette will not be in their tournament at the end of the season. I know that’s a big jump from one conference match but they just haven’t looked as good as I thought they would. Whitworth had an easy time of it with Pacific, which probably means the Pirates could run away with the regular season title this season.

Random Thoughts: So few matches. It almost doesn’t seem right.

If all goes well, as I write this a week early, I will be wrapping up a long vacation. Probably means these updates will be sporadic and late.

La Verne finds itself in Whitewater for some great matches starting with the hosts. Trouble.

UCSC finds itself in NYC for more tough matches. They start with MIT. Trouble.

Trinity/TLU is an I10 match in conference. As I write this, Trinity had just lost their 4th straight. I will assume they don’t need this win to break their losing streak.

Colorado College/St Thomas could be a match that helps decide 1st/2nd in the Blue Division.

NWC plays a round of conference matches. The best of the four might be Pacific at Whitworth. Whitworth should win but that’s why you play them.
