Friday, Oct 21 Match Day!
Updates: Look at Dallas putting the hurt on Schreiner who really couldn’t afford any losses as they tried for a conference tournament spot. They looked good last week in person. Emma Parsons had a triple-double for Dallas.
Back from the rehearsal dinner and updating now. I seem to recall a coach over in the New England region telling me that Hope was going to beat Calvin the next time they played. Narrator’s voice: They didn’t.
Yikes. Babson loses to Middlebury. New England is a bit of a mess this year.
Pretty easy win for UT-Dallas over UMHB.
CC gets some revenge as they sweep Austin College.
My Pirates are weird. Sweep of TLU puts them in second on a tiebreaker (assuming equal number of matches played). Three losses or more after Trinity in the conference.
Just the late matches to go. Dallas took a set from Trinity. Not sure who was on the floor for Trinity but nice feather for Dallas regardless.
There are a number of split matches on the coast tonight. Early morning for me so you’ll have to use the links.
Reverse sweep for Cal Lu as they appeared to find another gear once down 2-0.
With the UPS loss, Whitworth controls their destiny. Three teams now with 4 losses (one behind).

Random Thoughts: I’m writing this on a Tuesday as I need to get all of the weekend posts done prior to heading to my godson’s wedding. I’ll try to update links during the week.
We’ve got an SCAC pod of matches down at Trinity this weekend. We also have the other conferences playing their normal way of scheduling.
Concordia/LETU is a match with seeding and conference tournament implications.
UMHB/UTD is often the highlight of the conference and this should still be a good one.
McMurry/HSU battle for the hearts of Abilene.
Austin College gets both Trinity and Colorado College today. Remember, they did beat CC already this year.
Southwestern/TLU is a home match for TLU and this is a big one for seeding. Winner has the inside track for the second spot.
The NWC matches are all important. GFU/Puget Sound is huge. Pacific and PLU both need to win their matches. Whitman and Willamette are sort of on the outside but the winner will still be in this.
The SCIAC is the most boring right now, but they do have a nice match between Cal Lu and Pomona-Pitzer.
UCSC plays at Chapman in a match then really can’t afford to lose.
