For World Gorilla Day: The Gorillas of Travalanche

September 23 is World Gorilla Day, and to mark it, we add to our growing store of posts bundling our many posts related to particular animals. The gorillas of animals on stage and screen aren’t always accurate or respectful, but that’s equally true of depicitions of people. For the record we consider them precious parts of the web of life, blah blah, etc etc. But this is a show biz blog — for scientific dives into primatology and conservation and so forth, you’ll need to go farther afield. For now, it’s time to go ape. Just follow the links for posts on the announced topics.
