For those Headed South this Winter, Here’s Where to Eat Well

Here’s a reminder for those driving down to Florida or other points south this winter. It’s my curated, updated guide to genuinely good — often great — non-chain, locally owned places to eat within 15 minutes of I-95. It covers the entire trip from Washington to the southern I-95 terminus in Florida, and then on to Key West. And for those who are flying down, it includes links to many, many places to eat when you get there

And there are lots of links to restaurants in both southeast and southwest Florida,

and also information on the best places to stop for the night to break the trip, and interesting things along the way.
