Finalists named for future finals host

This news is a week old, but it’s news nonetheless. The NCAA revamped its championship host selection process this year. Now most championships have a uniform host submission process, and 81 of the 89 NCAA championship hosts, including Division III women’s volleyball, will be announced via webcast on Dec. 11. The announcement will also include all predetermined regional host sites.

Last Wednesday the NCAA announced the four finalists for the 2014-18 D-III women’s volleyball championships. • Birmingham CrossPlex; Hosts: Birmingham Southern/City of Birmingham/Birmingham CrossPlex • Van Noord Arena; Hosts: Calvin/West Michigan Sports Commission • Freeman Center; Host: Christopher Newport • Kolf Sports Center; Host: Wisconsin Oshkosh

Prospective hosts were able to bid for one or more years of the same championship.

I know which of those four I’m rooting for. What is your preference?
