Fiesta Dinner Ware and Salt Block Salmon with Mustard Dill Glaze

Last year I posted about using different colors of the Fiesta Dinnerware with food photography (check it out here). After visiting their booth at the International Housewares Association in March, the great folks at Homer Laughlin (who make Fiesta) sent me a couple of sets of their newest color, slate.

I love the color and know that they will work great in food photos to come.

Here is my collection of Fiesta plates that I use for almost every dish I make here on the blog. While my photography isn’t always great (I need much better lighting for instance), I always try to find the Fiesta color that perfectly compliments the dish.

Look at these beautiful colors.

The pink and green of the salmon work well against the slate color plate.
