February 2025 Discounts at Costco
New month, new coupon book. I decided to highlight mostly food items for three reasons. First, people seem to be most interested in food posts. Second, I find it more fun to write about food than other items (e.g., sheets; towels). Third, by learning more about the food items, I often identify some to try. To provide *some* balance, I also discussed three nonedible items. These discounts are good until February 23.
1. Creative Snacks Co.Strawberry Yogurt Pretzels ($2.60 off)
A new snack for the month that arrived in time for the season of pink treats (i.e., Valentine’s Day) are these pretzels. They are sold in 26-ounce bags and are members have commented that they strike a good sweet/salty balance.
I like both the concept and appearance of this treat. However, I will not be buying them for three reasons. First, I don’t eat pretzels very much. On occasion, I will eat them with hummus or guacamole (Product Review: Good Foods Chunky Guacamole), but not often. Second, I rarely like artificial strawberry flavor. Third, although I like yogurt coating, it is limited to dried fruit. They sure are pretty though!
2. Godiva Masterpieces Dark Chocolate Ganache Hearts ($3.30 off)
This seasonal candy is sold in four 15-ounce bags. Each heart candy consists of a dark chocolate ganache filling inside a dark chocolate shell.
These sound delicious. I love dark chocolate and Godiva certainly comes through on quality. Solid dark chocolate is great and the soft filling adds an extra treat
3. Noosa Yogurt, Variety Pack ($3.30 off)
The yogurt on discount are these individual cartons that come in a variety of flavors (Lemon; Blueberry; Strawberry Rhubarb). Boxes contain 12 four-ounce containers.
Although I have never noticed this brand at Costco, I am not surprised that it is available (“Strong” and “weak” sections of Costco). I have never tried the brand and only eat plain yogurt (Product Review: Kirkland Organic Greek Yogurt). Chobani yogurt is often on sale and I have commented on the small carton size (January 2025 Deals at Costco); (Costco Deals for August). 5.3 ounces is small so four ounces is ridiculous! Maybe for young children?
4. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice ($3 off)
This juice is sold in 64-ounce bottles.
I have never tried his juice and am not interested in the flavor. The bottle is attractive though.
5. Foster Farms Mini Corn Dogs ($3 off)
This frozen appetizer comes in bags containing 84 corn dogs with a crunchy honey coating. The corn dogs can be cooked in the microwave, air fryer, or oven.
Definitely not for me! The concept of corn dogs baffles me but I guess they are quite popular.
6. Orgain Plant-Based Protein Shake ($7 off)
Members looking for a nutritional item this month can buy these protein shakes in chocolate flavor. Boxes contain 18 11-ounce bottles.
Knowing that Costco often has these snakes in sale, I tried a smaller container to try them out before buying large Costco pack. I did not like them at all, finding the liquid much too thin. I acknowledge that I tried a vanilla shake of a slightly different variety, but I am now not interested in this brand and will stick with Fairlife (Product Review: Fairlife Nutrition Plan Chocolate Milk). However, I know that many members will benefit from this discount.
7. Amylu Chicken Breakfast Sausage Links ($3.50 off)
These sausages are sold frozen in 50-ounce bags containing 54 links.
Again, not for me.
8. Amylu or Aidells Teriyaki & Pineapple Chicken Meatballs ($3.70 off)
With both brands on sale, members can compare these flavored frozen meatballs that are sold in 46-ounce bags.
Nope, not for me.
9. Cape Cod Reduced Fat Kettle Cooked Potato Chips ($2.50 off)
This crunchy snacks is sold in 30-ounce bags. They contain 40% less fat than traditional chips.
I don’t eat many crunchy snacks and have not eaten potato chips in a very long time. However, I have very positive memories of Cape Cod chips. The individual bags were a treat for school lunches and I also remember eating the larger bags with lemonade in the summer. I especially liked the chips that were folded over a few times and therefore extra thick and salty.
10. Tattooed Chef Organic Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry ($3 off)
Another frozen item on discount this month are these Stir-Fry kits. The four 12-ounce bags contain riced cauliflower, a variety of vegetables (peas; corn; red bell pepper), and a sesame ginger sauce. The stir fry is vegan and gluten free.
This item is not kosher certified but sounds very good. I have never tried riced cauliflower but would like to. Although I don’t like raw cauliflower, I do like it cooked. The variety of vegetables and the sauce also sounds good. My hesitations about meals like this are that they would not be filling enough and that my expectations would be too high if I expect the cauliflower to taste like rice.
11. Fruit By The Foot, Variety Pack ($4.50 off)
These snacks are sold in boxes of 48 0.75-ounce, individually wrapped treats. They are sold in three flavors (Berry; Strawberry; Blue Raspberry).
I was surprised to see that this item is still made! I remember enjoying them growing up but so many other treats from those days are no longer sold (e.g., fruit wrinkles) that I assume most are no longer available. In addition, most of the fruit snacks I see now are “healthier” with more natural ingredients.
12. Stacy’s Organic Pita Chips, Simply Naked ($2 off)
These chips are sold in 28-ounce bags.
I have never tried these chips because, as I mentioned, I rarely eat crunchy snacks. However, I know many people who like them a lot. They do look like they would be good with hummus or salsa.
13. Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Seed and Flax Granola ($3.40 off)
A breakfast option on sale this month is this granola that is high in fiber and low in sodium. Bags are 2.2 pounds.
This granola sounds very good. I don’t eat many pumpkin products but I trust anything by Nature’s Path. However, I love the variety that I regularly buy at Costco so much (Product Review: Kirkland Ancient Grains granola), that I think I would be disappointed by anything else.
14. General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios ($2.80 off)
A second cereal in the coupon book are these flavored Cheerios. They are sold in boxes containing two 27.5-ounce bags.
I have not had these in years. Growing up, I did not like plain Cheerios but did like several of the flavored varieties (Honey Nut; Multigrain; Frosted). Honey Nut are actually the most popular flavor of Cheerios.
15. MadeGood Granola Minis, Variety Pack ($4 off)
Another snack that members can purchase at a discount this month are these granola bites in two flavors (Chocolate Chip; Mixed Berry). They are sold in packages of 24 0.85-ounce Individual bags.
I have only tried this brand once and had the chocolate chip bites. They were actually quite good. However, the bags are way too small.
Non-Food Items on Sale in February
1. Oral-B CrossAction Advanced Toothbrush, 8-pack ($5 off)
These toothbrushes come in a pack of eight brushes.
I know it’s weird but I like having extra toothbrushes around. I guess I have dropped too many on the floor or in the sink. When that happens, I prefer a new one. I have bought these brushes many times and find them to be very high quality. The bristles are soft enough to be gentle on the gums.
2. Lysol Disinfecting Wipes, Variety Pack ($3 off)
Sold in packs of four containers of 95 wipes each, these wipes come in two scents (Crisp Linen; Lemon & Lime Blossom).
My family buys these wipes frequently when in discount. The containers are large enough to contain enough wipes to last awhile without being so big that, if left open, too many are wasted. I also like that they smell fresh but not overwhelming. My only complaint is that sometimes it can be hard to get the first wipe through the hole at the top, making the “cutting system” fall apart a little.
3. Palmolive Dish Soap & Dishwasher Detergent ($2.50 off)
This dish detergent comes in 102-ounce bottles.
I am glad to see this item in the coupon book as it is another frequent purchase for us. It takes awhile to use the soap, especially after watering it down (it is quite thick) but is good to have around.
Will you be buying any of these items in February? Any others in the could n book about which you are excited?
