Fantasy Volleyball Final Standings

Congratulations to Doh for their convincing Fantasy Volleyball victory. All of the standings and statistics have been saved to the Fantasy VB Page.

It’s possible there are some errors in the statistics. Or, maybe better to say, that different box scores might have different stats listed. We noticed that the NCAA box scores on the NCAA site would change or just be wrong for certain players. Lesson learned for next year!

Doh was helped by having players on both of the finalist. The Aubrie Krzus (Whitewater) pick helped in the blocks category in addition to assists. Doh was able to finish first in both of those categories. Their lowest finish in a category was Kills but they still had double-digit points in each of the five categories. A consistent finish across all categories is a must in this game.

The Blocks category let down both D3VbWestStinks! and Pretty Little Hitters as their margin behind was mainly the result of the difference in that category.

Undecided finished last but there are no losers in this game…except, of course, for Undecided.

I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that played. I hope it added some additional fun to the Elite 8. Having 18 participates was more than I thought there would be initially. Thank you, of course, to Jerk for doing the stats. I know it must have been very difficult looking at a blurry screen after your Juniata celebration parties after each match.

I definitely would like to repeat this next year. Maybe have a change where we can add/remove one player per round.
