EULCS held a regional qualifier as well. Misfits and Splyce fought in the first best of five. Games one and three were taken by Splyce. Game one was Kobbe carrying, while game three was a stomp. Games two and four were taken by Misfits. Game two was close as Hans Sama saved the day for Misfits. Game four was a route to set up game five.

Game five was pretty close, yet Splyce was able to turn away an early deficient to come back and win. This was thanks to Kobbe’s 5/1/5 line with Vayne, as he capped off a fine series. Splyce then matched up with G2. Much like in the prior series Splyce looked good in games one and three. Yet in games two and four G2 was the superior team. Game five would have to settle it. It was a hard-fought match until a major power spike was hit for G2 as they collected a baron and won a team fight close to the 29-minute mark. They propelled this advantage into the game and series win. G2 would face So4 for the final spot at worlds from Europe. Game one was a G2 romp. They held a 14-3 kill advantage and looked locked in. Game two SO4 returned the favor. They scored a 20-8 kill advantage as Nukeduck racked up a 9/1/7 stat line. Game three started off with G2 taking a led. Then then kept moving and snowballed it even further. The win game them a 2-1 advantage and put them just a win away from worlds. Game four saw no resistance from S04. The coun’t not stop a G2 onslaught. It was just a one-sided match and a disappointing end to the series. However, it showed G2 is the better team with little doubt. More than worthy to represent Eu at worlds. So4 had a good season. They improved a lot sense a rough spring split. In the end it just wasn’t enough. However, I don’t think this is the last we hear of them in the future.

Stay tuned for worlds coverage.
