Embiid Monster Game Set Record

Joel Embiid had a monster game last night against the Spurs dropping 70 points in a win over the Spurs. 70 points is a career high as well as a 76ers franchise record. He becomes the ninth player in NBA history to score 70 in an NBA game.

This is a huge moment for the reigning MVP and could help his case to repeat in 2024 as MVP. Though he is also helping the 76ers win games as they have won six in a row. Embiid is also scoring a ton having at 21 consecutive games with at least 30 points. All of this is adding up to a strong first half of the season and a 76ers team near the top of the Eastern Conference.
