The InUnum Ensemble was founded in 2003 aiming to promote medieval musical repertoire, in particular the sacred polyphonic production from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century. The ensemble is linked to the Claviere Study Center of Vittorio Veneto (TV). All members of the group come from a broad academic background, which includes functional vocality, performance practice with ancient instruments, musicological research.

Numerous concerts have been held so far, mainly in Italy, in sacred places of artistic importance and spiritual significance, such as the Saint Hildegard of Bingen Abbey (Abtei St. Hildegard). Their musical programmes include Carols: dance in the sacred and ceremonial repertoire of the late Middle Ages, In hoc signo: hymns to martyrs and saints in the late medieval tradition, Ave, donna santissima, O quam mirabilis: archetipi sonori nel repertorio monodico e polifonico medievale, Il suono mistico, Monos. Alle radici del canto sacro (sponsored by the Accademia dell’Arte Corale V.S. Popov. Mosca).

The multimedia program L’invisibile rivelato: il manifestarsi della santità profetica di Ildegarda di Bingen is unique in its kind, with the integral projection of the miniatures of the Lucca-Kodex (ms. 1942, Biblioteca Statale di Lucca). In duo formation, the ensemble oversaw the recording of the CD Divina dulcedo et laudatio annexed to the printing of the Atti del Convegno Mistica, Musica e Medicina. Ildegarda fra il suo e il nostro tempo (Vittorio Veneto, 22/23 September 2012) and the CD Il canto di Ildegarda (2020).
