Dreams – 8/26

8/26/25: [Fragments only] I was wondering when Jim Stone would visit and which airport I would pick him up at. There were set of pink note cards and purple note cards–the purple ones were on the right.

8/26/24: I was driving in a car and got out to look at the swamp/lake below. Everything around the water was vivid green while the water was a consistent deep blue. I walked on a trail into a tunnel/covered bridge that had tables and looked like it was used for parties/special occasions then suddenly was outdoors again in the middle of a fight and I was a Jedi and I was running away from an old woman–until she paralyzed me. Then I was suddenly in the dining room of Gladys Anthony (grandparents’ neighbor in Keokuk) and Gladys was apologizing for the old woman’s behavior–the old woman turned out to be a little kid (whose face was wrinkled and prune-y) who couldn’t always control her psychic powers.

8/26/23: Lorne Michaels from SNL was in the back of a limo with a woman in a yellow strapless dress who was hitting on him/getting lovie-dovie, except she was a murderer intent on killing him. Then it switched and there were two guys hiding from Jason (from Friday the 13th) trying to sneak past him to rescue a girl/hit on a girl. One decided to worm his way past underground under piles of leaves and stuff but he got to a spot where he couldn’t move. Then suddenly I became that guy, Jason spotted me, came over and used some sort of weapon to make everything go black.

8/26/22: I was sitting on the floor in the Bettendorf mansion at the base of the great stairway. I was playing with dice? jacks? coins? on the carpet. At the top of the first stairway turn, there was a display case that was in disrepair. The only thing there were the words “YOU SUCK” in orange flowery letters like teachers put on their classroom walls. That was when I realized the school had been abandoned years ago but my mom never had come to pick me up.

8/26/21 #1: I was babysitting my daughter–except she was the size of Clifford the Big Red Dog. I tried to keep her happy by doing zerbits on her belly, but she was sad because no one would let a baby/infant be a bridesmaid in a wedding.

8/26/21 #2: I went to a volleyball game with Eric C. There was a timeout that started going on forever so we left and drove around Keokuk, IA, trying to decide which RPG we should play with our friends. Julie was in the back seat and we had to keep explaining the difference between Niet Vam and Viet Nam.
