Dreams – 7/21

7/21/24: I was coaching and we were playing UIS in a room of some sort. We were losing because their server was serving from up at the net while standing on a chair. I complained towards the ref (Art Bowden) but he wouldn’t look at me. I called timeout and started talking about strategy but “Zoe Podraza” started crying and the girls weren’t listening so I got louder and then they were all crying, so we left the gym for “quiet counseling” and a chance to wind down but whatever we did, it summoned a demon. One of the other players said “If you were a good coach, you would’ve known what to do.”

7/21/23: I was sitting on a chair at one end of a hallway. Art and paintings lined the hall. At the far end, there was a river running on the wall where the hall became a T-intersection. I couldn’t tell if I stood, would I fall towards the river because I wasn’t on the ground OR was the river actually running along a wall. Neither possibility seemed weird to me.

7/21/22: I was playing a hex/counter boardgame. There were bad rules. Out of supply units behind enemy lines didn’t die. They just could never move, so the German decided to leave Allied units behind because if he didn’t take Moscow, it wouldn’t matter. Hexes could only have 3 counters–except if there were multiple towns in the hex in which case you could have 2 per town. One hex in southern Germany had 10 towns, so there were 20 units there in a stack 4″ high.

7/21/21: Nothing of the dream remains except for me waking up with “I Can See Clearly Now (The Rain is Gone)” running through my head and knowing I WAS singing for some reason in a dream.
