Dreams – 7/14
7/14/25: I had a dream I was behind a log with a sniper rifle and had the idea to put a video camera on its top so I wouldn’t have to show my head to fire, then I decided I should put the camera on an extendable antenna for a better view. [1 – Dream about snipers is from watching two different shows yesterday where snipers played a role.] [2 – At some point, the dream caused me to flail out and knock over a cup of water by my bed–Julie says this happened at 1:32am and I was mumbling/talking in my sleep as it happened.]
7/14/24: A voice was explaining a graph–and why using multiple nuclear weapons was better than a single massive bomb. I was on a couch with Spike and wanted to climb out from under him when he started growling and trying to attack me. I held him off–and realized it was a ‘fake Spike’ because his face wasn’t a hound–it was the face of a schnauzer.
7/14/23: [fragment only] I was barefoot and my pinky toe bent outwards at 90-degrees. I knew it was broken, but I also watched as it kept bending further. This did not disturb me–all I realized was my foot was dirty and needed to be washed.
7/14/22: I was walking down a hall in a building that was empty but I knew it was Teutopolis High School. A large/round woman popped through a doorway and when she did, I gave her a t-shirt, so she left me alone. I got to my room and there was an old table-type video game. It had a computer keyboard but you only used the up and right arrows because it was an Indy-car racing game but it wasn’t much of a game because you had the only car on the track.
7/14/21: I was at my grandparents’ house in Keokuk along with my wife and two dogs, Kaiju and Jaeger. It got dark outside. There was a lot of wind, too. I went to the window and saw sideways funnel clouds and heard a siren. The funnel clouds were close and growing bigger. My grandparents, Julie, and other unknown family members raced to the basement. I didn’t. I made sure to herd the dogs down as well. It was not the way I remembered the basement because Papa and Grandma had remodeled it. It had bright lights and a walk-out patio door that led to the backyard–even though the back door of the house upstairs also led to the back yard.
I went upstairs again curious to see if the tornado would come close and saw everyone in the neighborhood outside like it was a block party, sitting on lawn chairs and grilling. They were pointing fingers at me, laughing because my family had listened to the warnings and taken shelter.
