Dreams – 6/9
6/9/25 #1: I was at the top of the stairs in our house on Country Lake Dr. I had a sniper rifle and was shooting bad guys at the bottom of the stairs. I then raced out the front door and across the street to signal for help, but the house had nothing around it/no neighborhood, so I started shooting at whatever moved inside the house.
6/9/25 #2: [fragment] Dave Pieart was doing something and everyone was watching him. I don’t recall what he was doing or any other detail.
6/9/24: I was in a hallway and Julie’s secretary was upset because a blurry gray/black figure was in the building saying the department had been cut. I told her I would take care of it but I needed to be given total authority–she granted it to me by her vested authority as department secretary. I called a meeting in a white conference room with lots of windows. There were hundreds of people there around a giant circle table as well as sitting on the floor/it was standing room only. I walked in and people started cheering me and I used an announcer voice to say it was time to introduce the ‘once and current chairs’–and everyone stood. The current chair was Julie. The once-chair’s name was ‘Christine’ but she wouldn’t stand and I realized it was Joanie McCausland in disguise.
6/9/23 #1: I was with a group trying to fix a crisis. We realized the only way we could do that was with time travel and the help of Mid-American Corvette. We went to Mike Yager’s house–which was a ranch-style place. His house had plaques and trophies on all the walls. We were sure he would help us. He came up from basement steps hidden behind a secret door wearing a fur vest and a Viking helmet with two big ram horns. He walked past me and said, “I’ve got some problems of my own I have to go take care of.”
6/9/23 #2: I was in a wooded area with shrubs and tall grass and I was golfing with Tom Kite, Tom Watson, and Jack Nicklaus. We were all on different sides of the hole. My golf ball was huge–size of a grapefruit–but no one said anything. I had to putt twice for par. Kite did likewise then Nicklaus. I walked behind Watson as he putted and saw his ball was the size of a bowling ball. He hit it in for par and his ball go stuck in the hole, held in place by all the grass. He pulled it out with both hands and I saw the ball was black. It had silver goo on it which he announced was “special poo.” A crowd appeared around us and was clapping. Nicklaus said, “You’d think no one ever saw people putting golf eggs before.”
6/9/22 #1: I was sitting on the steps of Sigel St. Michael’s gym. It was winter. Jenny Jackson (OSU VB 92-95) was doing ‘volleyball katas’ in the parking lot. She was struggling, so Laura Davis (OSU VB 91-94) started coaching her, trying to show her how to do things. Then I interrupted and suggested I use ‘instant video’ to record her so she could see what she was doing. Jenny and Laura had never heard of video, so we say on a park bench to discuss what video was. By then it was green and warm outside.
6/9/22 #2: I was coaching and had 100 athletes attend a preseason meeting, but on the first day of practice only a dozen or so showed up. I realized I would get in trouble because I told the AD I wanted eight hours of gym time reserved for practice, but now I only needed two. I stopped worrying when we posed for yearbook photos.
6/9/21: There were two dreams–but they got killed off by a *massive* migraine.
