Dreams – 6/18

6/18/24 #1: There was a war breaking out between two APBA leagues. Eugene Gady’s children were upset and wrote him a letter in cursive telling him to avoid the war–they were interested in him spending time with them rather than his Nobel Peace Prize or their mansion–the dream then showed Eugene at a big table next to a pool. It then cut to me talking with a ‘sergeant’ on the street. We were being watched by Eugene and his wife from a higher story in 19th century London. I disappeared and Eugene’s wife watched the sergeant. The sergeant kept looking past the Gadys window to a higher one where a priest was standing and also looking at the sergeant. The sergeant nodded to the priest, then went inside the building across the street. 6/18/24#2: I was in my bed at my mom’s house. I heard her talking to Erick in my sister’s room but I kept my eyes mostly shut pretending to sleep. I saw a light from the den, so I got up and walked down the hall, then downstairs, and was confused because overnight, my mom remodeled the upstairs door and put in a slanted door with shelves built into the staircase-side of the door. I had to think how to open the door and when I opened the door, I woke up from the dream.

6/18/23 #1: I was in Julie’s parents front room. I went to grab my jacket and sweater sitting on a chair, but they were soaking wet. I realized the room had flooded and there was a foot of water. I walked to the front door and that end of the room was dry. I told Julie’s mom “I don’t think the room is level.” I then said, “I’d unplug all the electrical stuff, but I won’t do it because I’d probably get electrocuted.”

6/18/23 #2: I was playing something like paintball. There were four others and me and we had orders to shoot the other team. [Awake, I realize the layout was similar to one of the HALO maps you fought on to see how many levels you could beat–a science station with a hill/valley in front of it] On the far end of the battlefield, we spotted girls in yellow but didn’t think they could be the enemy. Suddenly there were people everywhere who weren’t in the game, just tourists. I panicked and lost my rifle, so I was going around with a pistol. I went upstairs and downstairs and found the rifle propped against a table next to where a woman was watching a couple kids color on the floor. She saw I was looking at the rifle, got mad, and threw it at me. It bent the bayonet tip on the front. I threw the pistol at her and it shattered since it was plastic. I found a pistol suspended in mid-air and took that to replace my gun, took my rifle, and went back outside, but the game was over.

6/18/22: A guy was in a bathroom and wound up possessed by an ‘AI Demon’ and killed a woman in the same bathroom getting ready for a ‘corporate shindig’. He left her in the bathroom and joined everyone else waiting to go to the party. Everyone was in a Kroger’s grocery store. There was a woman sitting near the frozen vegetable packages who saw him and she realized he was a demon. The guy pointed at her and said ‘Be quiet or you are next’. Then everyone headed to the exit except the sitting woman. I noticed she was the only person in the grocery store with green eyes.

6/18/21: I was an observer–like the narrator in ‘Wonder Years’ I guess–in a classroom. Two new boys around age 8 were causing trouble. An older girl came over and told them to shut up because she was the teacher and would punish them–but I knew she was an 8th grader from the ‘other side of the classroom’. The boys sat scared, she went back to her desk, then the actual teacher came in to the room dressed in a gray three-piece suit. He skipped to his ‘command console’. He looked like a cross between Jeff Daniels and the principal from ‘Ferris Buehler’. The boys realized they’d been tricked and started misbehaving so the teacher put them in time-out. The rest of the dream was me looking at the safety cards on the teacher’s desk that showed all the places kids could sit while in time-out and what to do if you had as many as four kids at once requiring time-out.
