Dreams – 6/15

6/15/25: I was behind the pilot of a Zeppelin while he landed. When he did I was supposed to get out and do media-work on the ground, but I started talking to the man and his son sitting next to me as I was getting out and then the dirigible was in motion and I couldn’t get out/didn’t want to jump because it was moving fast and was off the ground. Something scraped on the ground and then I realized we were in a small-town downtown and I didn’t think it would clear the power lines. I decided once we were high enough, I’d interview people at the back of the blimp whether they were enjoying the flight. Also–the pilot was Italian with a bushy mustache.

6/15/24 #1: I was on a beach sitting around when explosions started happening with increasing frequency and people started screaming and running around. I didn’t do anything but I was thinking–did the weather forecast have kamikaze attacks predicted? 6/15/24 #2: I was in our living room (but it wasn’t). It was white but the walls were mostly windows. One set of windows shewed we were built on the end of a T-intersection. Our neighbors’ houses were close up to that road. Erick came into the room and it turned to night and it was raining, but the rain was pixilated and turned to snow. He was sitting in boxers and said “Well, this is perfect weather for driving home.”

6/15/23: I was in Dave P.’s apartment and we were talking about sports. He said he had four people apply for his open JV position but they were still going through basic training and not available yet. I blinked and was down the street at my grandparents’ house at a computer looking out onto the driveway. It was a special add-on room, very small. I couldn’t get my email to open to see if I had JV coaches. Each click would cause 8 windows to open and then 7 would shut, but the one staying open was always the wrong one. Dave and Sid J. were looking over my shoulder so I told them I was stressed and to leave the room. They did, then I looked in the mini-fridge for my leftover pizza I’d had at Dave’s apartment. It was gone. Dave was sitting on the desk chair and said, “You leave it, I eat it.” He then left to go home, so I opened the icebox, saw pop cans held in place with ice and decided to drink the orange Fanta because it was Dave’s. “You leave it, I drink it,” I said but no one was there.

6/15/22 #1: I was walking on the Lombard sidewalk just west of Marquette, near the medical building on the corner heading home. I was trailing Julie. She stopped at the corner and told me “You can’t ever go home” and handed me an envelope with a restraining order in it.

6/15/22 #2: I received an “email” from Iowa State that said I had to reply immediately if I wanted to continue being considered an alum of the school. The “email” though was like a hologram or telepathy. I wanted to reply but I couldn’t figure out a way to hit ‘send’ or reply. This gave me a panicky feeling (which resulted in me waking up from the dream).

6/15/22 #3: I was in a basement with a friend who was a professional miniatures painter–Richard Launius. He showed me the secret of his success. He had built a machine that held the pieces in place with other machines which held the brushes and moved back and forth, dipping the brushes in paint and running across the figures. He said it’s a lot easier to do when you don’t have to do anything. I nodded but I was confused why all of the figurines were completely black–because that didn’t seem like good painting to me.

6/15/21 #1: I was in a plane or a glider and I was controlling it even though I was just a passenger. I could make it climb, dive, or bank, usually…and then suddenly it wouldn’t dive any more and we started having terrain in front of us so we had to soar higher until and higher and we just kept barely missing power lines even as we passed cloud level and I wondered how much higher the craft could go. Everything was very white/bright and the aircraft would make swoosh sounds like the glider at the start of Escape from New York as it went up/down

6/15/21 #2: I was waiting for a train with my family underneath an overpass. We weren’t sure exactly where to wait because there was no depot (I suppose the layout was like that in Effingham, IL for Amtrak) and then noticed a yellow outline of a train painted on the pavement–except it was in profile/sideways. It had the silhouette of a Japanese bullet train. I noticed across the tracks there was a business open (no others were). It was “The Royal India Chocolate Company”. My family warned me if I crossed the tracks I wouldn’t make it back and besides, I didn’t have enough money to pay for anything in the RICC.
