Dreams – 6/13

6/13/25: I was in an apartment in my bedroom and realized it was a miserable place because there was only room for a bed. The walls were all discolored and oily with squares that were clean/less dirty and I realized that was where they attached the A/C and heater with adhesives. I blinked and I was in a game store looking at a ink-drawn map of my location–which was Bozeman, Montana, and I realized I did not realize it was right on the Canadian border. The cashier said, “It’s one of the Big Three” and I realized Montana had three cities equidistant from one another that were all the same size–and on the far left was Billings which was bigger than the Big Three. I left the store and wanted to cross the street, but there were waves of bicyclists and I didn’t have the courage to dodge them like the other pedestrians and I wondered if a smaller city like Seattle had this problem.

6/13/24: I was in/near the first base dugout of a stadium watching the centerfielder fake catching a ball at the wall/jumping onto the wall. He did this again and again even though the game was active. I blinked and I was pulling into a large free-standing cargo container–but I was on the right side of the car rather than the left. I realized there wasn’t enough room to climb out of the car because it was narrow–then I realized the open door at the far end had a guillotine blade on its bottom which was halfway raised.

6/13/22: I was sitting in the hallway of a tenement with wood hall floors. It was cold. A man walked up to the circuit breaker and pulled the horseshoe-looking switch to turn everything off. He was in a purple velvet robe with big poofy white fringe and he had two girlfriends walking with him. When he walked past me, I saw it was Dave Kingman and he was wearing a crown as well and on the front of the crown, the diamonds spelled out “KONG”. When he was gone, I stepped onto the planks by the breaker and turned the power back on because I preferred it cold to too hot.

6/13/21: I was helping someone get hostages/prisoners/civilians out of an apartment building because there was a ‘bad guy’ there. Suddenly the bad guy appeared at the end of the hall. My partner hid with the innocents while I distracted the bad guy by running upstairs…and then heading down to the exit when it was safe. At each landing, I debated turning to fire my gun at the bad guy and decided it wasn’t the time. I was getting tired and opened the firedoor on one level and kept going up. The bad guy laughed and said he was too cool to be fooled by that. I decided I’d go up one more floor then before turning to confront the bad guy except turning the corner, the stairs suddenly became REALLY steep and not big enough to hold my entire foot. The next door turned out to be hundreds of feet above me, so I turned to face the bad guy but he never came into view (and then I woke up).

6/13/10: Everything was normal in the dream–nothing special, except that every time someone mentioned my name or I walked into a room, an entire choir and symphony broke into Beethoven’s 9th (the Ode to Joy).
