Dreams – 5/24

5/24/23:

I was at a old-fashioned baseball game so I was seeing everything in sepia. I was watching along the third-base line and there was no outfield wall, just people in lawn chairs 150-200ft from home plate. The batter bunted, the catcher picked it up but no one was covering third so he threw the ball to me. I caught it in my glove (which I suddenly had) and ran towards the runner and tagged him, keeping my other hand over the ball so he couldn’t knock it out of my glove. After that, I became the regular third baseman for the team.

5/24/22:

I was doing yardwork at my house–it was a bungalow-style place in front of a huge forest of trees. There was a warning whistle and I realized the whistle meant there was a tornado (it was sunny at that point in the dream). To avoid the tornados, I got in a car with a former student (Dr. Steve M.) We ran into a storm and then lots of tornados–they were flying in groups of three. The one in the road went right through us and caused me to get dizzy but it didn’t destroy our car (which was now flying like a helicopter). Suddenly I was back inside my house and a SWAT-team of 5th graders was coming to ‘take me down’ because the head Agent of SHIELD guy said ‘Dietz is a very dangerous man.’

5/24/10:

I was rooming in Westgate with Erik J and Al Freeman (Al was my roommate for Fall ’85 at Wallace/Towers) and I can’t fit my underwear because it is Mikey’s…and THEN women walk in and I can’t find any clothes. When they left, Mikey’s action figs were all over the room though he was staying with my mom and Pete.
