Dreams – 5/20

5/20/24: I was playing a boardgame with Erick. He was sitting to my right along a long end of the board. He was black and I was yellow. He was gloating because he was playing pieces in ‘priority spaces’ which was giving him ‘more influence’. The game was about ‘world influence’ except everything you did was about constructing buildings and roads.

5/20/21: I was sitting across a folding table from Ron Silverio, a college roommate. We were in a cubbyhole somewhere, really dingy. He had a little tape recorder out and was practicing his Tagalog because he was planning on moving to the Philippines to find work because he couldn’t find anything in the United States. He was confident he could find games to play there that would still be in English though.
