Dreams – 5/16

5/16/25 #1: I was going to a hotel with a Super Bowl/Foster reunion party sponsored by Paul Eichinger. I knew Julie was already there so I got a ride with Tami Cott. At the hotel, I checked in to a room then went looking for everyone. There were a lot of people I didn’t know. There was a registration table with a line. My room was in a bloc on the other side of the hotel from other rooms. The middle was the swimming and party areas. This is when I realized Paul had booked an orgy and I wondered where Julie was. Then I saw Arnel Citurs with an orange backpack standing in line. He had shrunk a foot but I knew he would help me find Julie. 5/16/25 #2: I was at a conference/in a meeting room. Everyone was in the military and were in battle gear or chemical-warfare suits except me. I kept calling everyone ‘colonel’. Then the lights went red and there were sirens and a woman in a chem suit looked at a dozen guys at a table and said “We’re ready to go as soon as they are done with the planning. Go, go, go!” I looked at the officers doing the planning and realized they were playing Littoral Commander, except the units were the blocks and thin rectangles from the old Avalon Hill Diplomacy game.

5/16/24 #1: It was night-time and we needed to go to Walmart. I was adjusting the back hatch–a couple levers had to be pulled for it to work and the car to drive–one was called “the STAR latch’. When I shut it, the car started moving. Julie’s dad was driving and Julie and her mom were in the back seat because they were afraid whoever was up front would get killed in an accident. I had to leap in as he turned the car in a counterclockwise circle. I worked on the racing car-style seatbelt and hoped we would make it to Wal-mart. 5/16/24 #2: I was at a party/meet-and-greet. Someone showed me what looked like a microscope or telescope that sat on a table–it was all black and silver. Then the Brazilian ambassador came up and said he wanted to buy one of the gizmos because it was an outstanding weapons system and would be very useful in a coup d’etat.

5/16/23: I was in my grandparents’ front room, but it was way narrower. Julie was cleaning up Spike’s poop from the carpet but every time she got a spot clean, he pooped somewhere else and I noticed that there were other poop spots of crumbly poop that had been ground into the carpet by a vacuum or roomba.

5/16/22 #1: I was hovering in mid-air. I was watching a secret military test. DARPA was trying to determine whether warheads made of heated peanut butter were useful against Soviet T-72 tanks. I wondered if they already had a plan for jelly.

5/16/22 #2: I was standing above cliffs consisting of lots of rock pillars. Far below there was the white foam and roar of water. A girl was climbing towards two men. One of the men was in a robe. When she reached them, I saw it was a wedding. Then I saw a little fly except it wasn’t little. It flew upwards until it was the size of a volleyball-carrying tube. The man across from the woman tried to shoe it away but the fly bit the woman’s neck and she fell, bouncing off the rocks. At that point, the priest/man in the robe drew a sword and beheaded the giant fly. The two men then started climbing upwards in my direction after the priest put his sworn in his scabbard again.

5/16/22 #3: I knocked on a college dorm door. I thought I heard giggling and someone say ‘Come in.’ I walked in but didn’t see anyone. I looked under the bed–no one. I was scared to move because I realized I was now sitting on the bed and it was a catapult disguised as a Murphy bed. At least it was sunny out!

5/16/21: There were two midget samurai facing one another in full armor. They were armed with inflatable ‘boomsticks’ like those used to make noise at sporting events. Behind them was a massive mural of other midget samurai all drawn to look like they were watching the two ‘real’ midgets in samurai armor fighting.
