Dreams – 3/23

3/23/24: I was in my car with Lainey J.–I rescued her at the start of a zombie apocalypse. We drove to the Lake Land Athletic Department (which was in a building that looked like an air traffic control tower). Zombies were attacking as we waited for the elevator. We got to the third floor and there were people fighting zombies–the room was set up with furniture positioned like the Star Trek Enterprise bridge. Lainey decided to stay. I left. Then I was at a big barn on a hilltop. The barn was called “Dodger Stadium” and I was supervising a boys VB practice. I went door to door and to the big windows on the top of the barn to look for zombies. I knew they would see the bright lights and hear the bouncing balls because it was now night. I went outside and realized there were woods right up to the barn, so zombies had an easy route to sneak up. I ended practice and everyone decided to leave as a group to their cars but as soon as I was outside, everyone disappeared and I couldn’t find my car, so I started wondering if I should find a closet to hide/sleep in or if I could ‘play dead’ in the middle of the road so I could get sleep there.

3/23/23: I was driving the escape vehicle for a robbery. I got to the site and it turned out the robbers were the Animaniacs and they were driving through post office boxes. In all the boxes, they left three pieces of paper–two with what they took from each box so they could inventory things later and the third was a letter written to me. I had to take all of these and keep them in order. I wasn’t fast enough, so I didn’t get all of the papers. I did see one that said the Haas family wedding dress could be sent to Helga Haas for $1 as the last surviving Haas woman.

I went back to my car and it turned out to be a Dodge Challenger convertible and parked next to it was Tyler R. (media person) and his dark brown El Camino. I put all the papers in a shoe box in the trunk–and then when Tyler said he liked my car, I let him drive it to work. He put it in reverse and drove backwards to a parking space three stores down in the strip mall. I told him he couldn’t smoke the tires or else he would have to buy replacements.

3/23/22: I was standing near my dad’s car. It was an old metallic blue Continental. He asked me to put luggage inside it. Opening the side door took both hands but I didn’t see how the suitcase could fit in the backseat, so I opened the trunk. The luggage area was small and it was “grooved”/had notches so luggage would slide into place. I realized why it was so small. There was an area that could open into the backseat ahead of the trunk that was a full-service bar for six people with stools and everything. I wondered why my dad paid the extra $500 for that option on our car.

3/23/21 #1: I was in a Chicago public housing building needing to interview someone on the top floor. I was barefoot. We had to walk up using broken escalators. There were gang members blocking the way and they tried to intimidate us but never did anything bad either. We got to our destination–it was a short Chinese guy’s apartment. He lived there with his son. The door was open–because the lock was broken. He said not to worry about the gang members. It was the police they worried about. The entire apartment was a maze–and everything was worn down. He took us to his son’s bedroom and then explained to us how to gain access to the community bathroom because it had a quantum lock and required us to download an app to use it.

3/23/21 #2: I got to see a new invention. It was a trailer hitch that went on the front of a car–except it wasn’t a hitch. It was a catalytic converter with a square around it that would glow blue and glowed brighter the more it worked. When it turned red, that meant you could also use it to charge your cell phone.
