Dreams – 3/19

3/19/25: I was standing on street corner. It was dark, but I don’t know if it was night or not. I was having a discussion with two guys (one black, the other indeterminate) about the news that Jim Harbaugh had taken the coaching job at Western Illinois. They were puzzled why and I explained that it was because he needed the university’s health-care benefits.

3/19/24: There was a baseball game in a living room shaped like a rectangle. I was pitching, my back against one wall–the short side of the rectangle, so the batter was only 20 feet away or so. The ball got away to the far side of the room and that ended the game because the ball started glowing after it broke a chalk circle drawn onto the floor.

3/19/23 #1: I was sitting on a futon/couch and realized there were mummies wherever I was and that they were evil and wrapped in black bandages. I was with someone on a couch and I started waving my hand and it would send black ‘spirits’ out of its end which scared the other person but they didn’t realize the ‘spirits’ were like party favors or the ribbonettes on a cheerleader’s pom-pom.

3/19/23 #2: I was at a table between two school administrators–they were Tima Fey and Chris Cooper [I had to look his name up–he is the ‘bad guy’ in the 2011 Muppets movie]. They stared at me but didn’t say anything until I thought “I have to go pee” and then they thought back at me, “Good idea” so we all went into the bathroom together to go pee.

3/19/22 #1: I was observing someone being investigated for spying. They were walking my dog Kaiju except they had turned him orange and translucent, so I could see they filled him half way with a liquid that looked green through his orange skin.

3/19/22 #2: I named Charlie Newman as CEO of my business. I closed my eyes and was suddenly underwater though I could see light above. I started swimming towards the light but I wasn’t coming closer to the surface and realized I was drowning. I wondered if Charlie had thrown me into the water to drown me, so he could become CEO sooner.

3/19/21 #1: I was in a house at a party when there was noise outside. I locked myself behind a door to the upstairs–was like the stairs in my grandparents house. I knew what was outside was like the “Brute” in the video game Left4Dead. I tried to block the stairway for safety, too. When I got upstairs, I saw there was an openable skylight, so I cracked it open and squeezed myself out onto the roof and then I jumped and floated down to the ground safely.

Apparently, I broke the law by doing this and was chased by the police. I ran into some tall corn, trying not to knock the stalks down and give away my location. I hid in a school and then tried to make a run for it by swimming against a stream of students…until I finally made it to an ‘EXIT’ next to the indoor baseball game. I ran into a federal agent (the black FBI guy who dies in Supernatural, Season 4 or 5, actually…). He said he knew I was innocent and hid me in the trunk of a rust-colored Honda. He warned me it would be hot because it was summer, so I had to strip down to my underwear. I stayed in there for hours then climbed out thru the back seat–everyone was gone. It was just me in the woods.

3/19/21 #2: I was living in a house in a wooded/park-like area. A lot of people were walking on the sidewalk right next to my living room area…I went to follow them. They were all going into a gym where there was a basketball game getting ready to start. The weird thing was–everyone was wearing St. Louis Cardinals clothing. I didn’t have any (thank goodness) so I had to wait in a long line for tickets. Instead, I walked home and decided to have an appointment/meeting with the team I coached.

At my house though, there was a wedding reception going on in my ballroom which meant I couldn’t hold the meeting. In my living room, I saw a groomsman and bridesmaid fighting. He stabbed her and she collapsed, but she drew a gun and shot him through the neck. They both died. There was a lot of blood. It turns out they were secret agents. I decided I would sell the house rather than clean up.
