Dreams – 2/6

2/6/25: I had an eagle-height view of a mansion on a lake. A bunch of dots poured out from it really fast, forming patterns. I knew they were people so I zoomed in and then I was in the water and it was nighttime. People ignored me and climbed out of the lake–it was peaceful. I went to swim out of the lake but was too tired, so I stopped against a rock shaped like a pagoda, then I climbed to the top of it. At the top, I was suddenly straddling the roof ridge, holding onto the chimney and afraid of heights. Ron Silverio walked up the roof and started to take off the chimney and I screamed in fear, so he walked back down. I watched him but when I looked forward again, the chimney was gone. It had been folded up and was being carried by Matt Johnson (Erik’s brother) far below to my right. Matt had a line of little kids following him.

2/6/23: I walked into a mall that I didn’t think was open. There were a bunch of people inside and they looked at me strange (I knew this but I also couldn’t see their faces). They were all near a big video arcade that was having a special for “County Republicans” to get them angry because “WE LOST” which was on a big dot-matrix printed sign taped to a gray steel door next to the entrance. I tried to walk casually past the kiosk, but a guy there kept grabbing at me and saying “Hey, buddyyyyyy” to get my attention.

2/6/22: I was sitting at a desktop computer–like a big early 1990s one. I wasn’t doing anything except staring at it because I had writer’s block. I wanted to go upstairs but I couldn’t find the stairs because they’d become invisible. All I could see above me was a starry night.

2/6/21: Only fragments–it involved Maria Deniston and her dad, Maxine Nightengale’s disco song “Right Back Where We Started From”, and a tree…the tree was in the middle of a park or something but it was also clearly the tree that was right outside the kitchen window at my mom’s house in Davenport.
