Dreams – 2/13

2/13/25: I was playing a horse racing game. The board was white with black lines but then it changed when Eric C. and the other player went one direction and I went the other. It became a car racing game at the Nürburgring. There were all sorts of colors on the board and I couldn’t keep track of where curves and turns were. The other two playing were now close to me again and I realized they had cheated by moving diagonally at which point I picked up the green horse and moved it next to my horse (they were no longer cars) and said “That’s more like it.”

2/13/24: I was in some sort of workshop–like the work area outside the SK/SM art room. Most things were gray. Something in my mind told me there was a radiation leak so I then held my breath for the rest of the dream. I thought I knew the source and would dispose of it, but there was no safety gear. I found one glove, but it was entangled with an inside-out swimsuit. Then I was in a different room with a bunch of people and they didn’t care/didn’t know about the leak because they were studying for the NFL Draft.

2/13/23: I was looking underneath a ship–or I was a ship–and I was in a gray stormy ocean trying to look down to spot submarines that could attack Allied shipping. I wasn’t able to see anything and I wondered why we weren’t using sonar or radar. Then everything switched and it was suddenly very bright. I was naked and swimming in what I thought was a hot springs. I looked down into the water and saw stingrays and jellyfish beneath me and realized the water was only four feet deep and then I realized I was swimming in a flooded parking lot and what I thought were surrounding hills were just parked SUVs.

2/13/22 #1: I forgot to pay the rent on my business and the landlord belonged to the Russian Mafia, so the leader showed up to my apartment, sat next to me on the couch, and started punching the crap out of me. I didn’t mind because the person he was punching wasn’t really me??? Instead, I came in and sat down next to him. He looked at me REALLY angry and I put an arm around him and said, “Comrade Spetznaz, we can solve this politely. Why don’t I just consider you an investor in our next game release and you can share those profits as a way to make up for the mistake?” He didn’t say anything. He just pat me on the head and walked out of the building.

2/13/22 #2: I was in a corner room (with sliding windows) made of concrete/like a dormitory. I was a prisoner of an unknown country but I thought it was North Korea. I looked down and saw Jenny Johnson (who was an Air Force officer) marching back and forth on the same small plot of land. They were using her marching to create furrows in the ground for planting corn.

I went to the door and couldn’t see out the peephole because someone was looking in. It was two other prisoners. We tried to escape and got to the garage with the cars and realized we didn’t have keys, so with the alarms going we snuck back in which confused the one guard we saw. When I got back to my room, the alarms stopped. Dave P. came in and looked around and said no one liked being in the corner room because it always got too hot in summer. I thought the temperature was fine with the windows open. Then I started wondering about bombers and whether planes could reach the prison from Japan or if they would have to stop for fuel after reaching something called ‘The Line of Death’.

2/13/21: I was in my dorm room studying and decided to walk outside. Outside, I ran into ‘Kennedy’. She was selling “breakfast drugs”…they were deviled eggs except she sprinkled sugar on them instead of salt.

From there I walked to my dad’s business. He wasn’t there. I talked with people I knew (like Don Lee) but when I went to Dad’s office, my c-word stepmother was there cuddled with her son–she was caressing his hair and feeding him grapes. I was disgusted so I left.

Walking back, I had to walk up a muddy hill and I remember the ground squishing with each step. At the top, it was now becoming dusk. I realized my dorm room was actually part of a mobile home and that the University of Illinois had been lying to me.

2/13/20: I was watching a movie with friends and it turned out to be a horror movie. In the movie, the main character hallucinates, so the movie was trying to hypnotize us through the TV screen. Then the movie went weird and everything started circling and blurring and making odd noises like we were watching a movie from the 1960s. My friend Eric said he liked it, but we stop watching to play video games instead.

2/13/16: I had to help rescue people trapped in a hospital with zombies. We put everyone in a waiting room I’d built with my friends down in David Pieart’s basement. That’s where I found out that the image on the penny isn’t actually Lincoln–it’s his wife who had been a bearded lady in a circus.
