Dreams – 12/19
12/19/24: I was in a huge room with waist-high shelves that had books in storage/not general access. All of them were old and dusty. I knew the head librarian was excited because they were updating the collection with the newest collection possible–“War of the Rebellion”. I knew this was amazing that books were made as recently as 1865.
12/19/23: I was in an LLCC staff meeting in the middle of a mall with everyone sitting in school desks. The secretary (former VB player) was sitting at a distance inside a kiosk waving to people. She waved at me but I pretended to be asleep and not hear her screaming at me when I didn’t wave back.
[There was a second dream, but I remember nothing other than it took place in “Reeder Park”]
12/19/22 #1: I was in a convenience store–maybe I was an employee?? People would come in and take food and drinks and not pay for them. The guy behind the counter wouldn’t stop them or call the police. He said it’s because everyone told him “It’s legal in Narnia.” Then he pointed to a mansion up on a hill out the window. It was the only building you could see from the convenience store. He didn’t say it, but I figured the building was Narnia.
12/19/22 #2: I found out there was a big celebration because the driving age was lowered to 14. Then I found out I was on my deathbed and I had them wheel me out to the big hill behind where I went to high school so I could watch a final sunset and I realized the hill wasn’t actually big and I knew I was going to die disappointed.
12/19/21: I was walking at night down a road. It was winter. I was carrying a string/necklace with a metal animal fastened to it. That made me start singing “Brass Monkey, that funky monkey”. I stopped at a house where there was loud music/a party going on. I went inside and didn’t see anyone so I went downstairs. That’s where there was a “party”–there was kaleidoscopic lights flashing and it was really loud. There was a 100-gallon barrel there for people in case people puked. I threw the necklace into that. There was a guy alone on a short couch doing one-hand pushups, perched on the armrests. There was another coach with the Coach-from-a-school-I-won’t-name passed out drunk in front of a TV with a remote in his hand. He was wearing girls boxers. I went back upstairs and said ‘This is why I never liked parties’ so I went to eat pizza with friends in the Westgate Lounge.
12/19/20: I was sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot waiting for my son to do his shopping. I thought he was walking up and opened the passenger door for him but it was someone totally different. I tried to act cool like I just wanted air-flow in my car but people kept staring at me. He never came out.
