Dreams – 11/5

11/5/23 #1:

It was a basketball game. I was watching a private broadcast and an announcer (in a blue suit) went into the stadium basement and found a different announcer (in a dark purple/red suit) who had been a no-show. The different announcer talked about being disappointed in himself for missing his shots and the blue announcer stopped asking sport questions and started helping the other guy with his mental health and I was nodding and thinking that was really cool.

11/5/23 #2:

I was at a conference talking to a cute brunette girl with glasses. We had lots in common. We sat in the commons on the floor and I was going to ask her to marry me when a different girl came up to her, they talked, and they walked away holding hands–the different girl looked like a copy of the first, just heavier/stockier. I went back to my dorm room, was suddenly naked for no reason, and was packing all my belongings, trying to play ‘room Tetris’ while I did this to fit books into an already backed cardboard box. They I found my bookmark collection–and found a white one with gold letters and I decided I would go find the brunette girl and give it to her as a gift (completely forgetting I was naked).

11/5/22 #1:

I was in a war and had to keep control of three blocks out of nine in a row–the town had a weird layout. I was fighting against a sniper who kept shooting my men. I had a gut instinct every time he was going to fire at me and I would hide, but his bullets kept going through walls and furniture. My view changed to third-person and I saw that the sniper wasn’t manning a gun. He was actually playing a video and ‘locking’ his gunsight on my men and then paying for special uber-bullets to score hits.

11/5/22 #2:

I was on a dirt road with Britani S. (VB alum) and her dad. They were with their car–a big brown Cadillac with its roof much higher than usual [making me think of a KV-1 tank now that I am awake]. Instead of a driver mirror, they had contraptions there that were silver and shiny. They challenged me to a drag race, explaining that they had modified the car so it had a 850cc power plant that was a super-diesel to boot. I pointed to my car (which was my red Challenger) and said I’m going to win and they just laughed.

11/5/21:

I was in a field surrounded by trees. I was pushing a shopping cart. There was a…very large… woman there on a picnic blanket. I looked at a piece of paper and it said “Pam Hevesz”. That was her. Apparently I was on a blind date. She spotted me and so she we went back to her apartment for dinner–she said she never took men to her apartment.

In her apartment, there was a huge wall-to-wall window and it was totally dark outside. Out the window I saw a starport and buildings like from Star Wars/Coruscant. She stood by the window and I removed her laundry from my shopping cart. I realized she liked wearing Darth Vader underwear. She came over, kissed me, and said, “Like me now.”

Suddenly I was in a grocery store with the cart and I was checking out with food for a concessions stand. After I paid, the cart was only half full but it had been totally full when I reached the line. A woman from a different line had my food and claimed she’d taken it for my own good but put it back when the cashier got mad. She’d taken a big bag of frozen corn and a dozen boxes of mini-muffin packets.
