Dreams – 11/29

11/19/24: I was in a car east of Sunset Dr. turning into my grade school’s street. There were two gravel parking lots. I was pushing my car then into the empty lot and people were giving me angry looks as they walked through the lot. Then I was rushing into the food line at the cafeteria because everyone at the conference was there. I cut in line but no one noticed. Then I was inside a large storage shed behind a guy in a white shirt with blue letters–name on the back started with ‘S’. We were a football defense and had to prevent the other team from throwing into the garage. ‘S’-guy charged the quarterback and deflected the ball. I wasn’t sure whether to be upset he abandoned his post or if I could even play defense since the ceiling was just higher than my hair.

11/29/23: I was a student at Iowa State again and I was packing to leave along with Maria Deniston. We were trying to figure out what would fit in her car and what would go in mine because I refused to take her pets and smelly perfume because it would ‘ruin’ the Challenger. Then I was alone on a street waiting for a parade(?) that included two caravels each pulled by two rows of shirtless people tugging ropes. I decided to stay for summer school and realized I needed a lease by Monday because I couldn’t stay in Westgate–and I wondered if Paul Eichinger or Brian Olsen were interested in pursuing PHD programs.

11/29/22: I was in a room that had no lighting except directly over a round black conference table. There were kids sitting around it and they were supposed to solve all the world’s problems but they didn’t know what to do and didn’t understand any terms like quorum or plurality. I wanted to explain but I wasn’t permitted to speak, so I was writing stuff down but no one could read my handwriting–including me.

11/29/21: I was laying in bed and woke up to find Julie searching under the bed for something but all she was pulling out was NFL penalty flags and she was mad there were so many of them.
