Dreams – 10/8

10/8/24 #1: I was lying in bed and it was nighttime. I KNEW there was a hot dog on the floor over by the wall but I didn’t want to get out of bed, but when I reached for it, no matter what, it was just out of reach. 10/8/24 #2: I was in a neighborhood with a small park with a basketball court. I was there with three UIU VB players (Zoe, Marissa, Nicole). We all suddenly knew it was time for the park to close, so Marissa started walking ‘back to campus’ while Zoe/Nicole decided to stay. I went back to campus but went down a different street with broken/uneven sidewalks to see if I could find a new basketball laying around somewhere.

10/8/23: I was at a restaurant owned by a woman and her daughter. The daughter won some sort of TV contest and was wearing a gray ‘band-aid’ dress. I sat down and noticed the trash cans were full, so they were dumping trash into a disguised container in the middle of the seating area. I finished my meal and grabbed a little piece of chocolate to eat as I left. The older woman stopped me and said that because I got up from the table, I had to pay for the bon bon and that I was a horrible person for trying to steal food from them. I mentioned the trash/mess and she got angrier and called me ‘a greedy Republican’ at which point I mentioned the Dietz Foundation website several times and that I didn’t even pay myself $5/hour. The other customers clapped and I went out to the parking lot. I heard the woman say “He’s wrong. He’s a bad human being.” Out in the parking lot, I realized the restaurant door teleported me far from where I parked so I would have a long walk to try and find my car.

10/8/22: [fragment only] I was trying to get into a room and had to pass the security checks on a computer. The computer was an old North Star computer from the early 1980s and the problem was it required fingerprint ID and the computer couldn’t handle that.

10/8/21 #1: I was a psychic sent into the mountains to find a missing woman. I walked into this valley and I found her unconscious. There was another woman with her who ‘wasn’t there’ but was ethereal. That woman was a sort of doppelganger/vampire that was stealing the life of the unconscious woman, so I negotiated with the doppelganger to leave the woman alone. If she left the woman alone, the spirit could occupy the Franklin Lloyd Wrigt house on top of the nearby cliff. The vampire had her face open like the vampires in ‘Blade 2’ and said she would consider it but needed to use the bathroom before deciding.

10/8/21 #2: There were three men–criminals or escaped slaves??–and they got onto a tugboat in the river to make their escape rather than wait for the fourth. The first guy missed getting on board when the boat shoved off and the second guy wouldn’t stop the boat to let him catch up. The third guy reached out a hand, but the first guy drowned. The third guy got mad, beat the second guy severely and turned the boat around to wait for the fourth guy. The third guy jumped off the boat, tied the boat to the pier and as he did, the second guy recovered consciousness and stabbed him in the back and killed the third. The second then fell back down with his head in the water and died. That’s when the fourth guy showed up–the 4th was Jesus and he had been there to pilot the boat because he knew it was the River Styx. Jesus picked up the dead guys and the drowned one, went to the pilot house and yelled ‘All aboard’ then pulled the steam whistle.
