I was an army officer inside a house and I was hiding because there was a sniper. I peeked out behind curtains and there was a church with a sloped roof across the street. On the roof was Cara Anderson. She was standing and looking for the sniper. I ‘thought’ at her and she went prone, but I knew a sniper could still see her and I didn’t want to look out the window too long because I worried the sniper could see me from the tall trees on the other side of the church.

I was in a basketball game in a small gym and we were playing the Iowa Hawkeyes–except the bucket was smaller and we were using a volleyball (maybe it was a Nerf basketball?). I dunked the ball, then had a layup, then stole a ball and scored again. Then I had a teammate–Krystap Porzingis. He had the ball and I told him “You gotta feed me.” So he passed the ball to me and I scored again. Then it happened again except I kicked it out to him, then he got it back to me. Then the Hawkeyes put a lid over the basket, so when I went up to dunk, I set the ball on top of the lid, then jumped again and smushed the lid down into the basket so the basket basically became a bowl.

I was standing outside my mom’s house in the backyard. I was looking in all the windows to see if I could see her because I heard noises inside–someone was cooking. I even backed up to the alley to see if that gave me a better angle to see in but I saw no one. For some reason I knew I couldn’t get through any of the windows even though they were open/only had screens on them.

I was in the Mark Twain Room of the Bettendorf Mansion. I was teaching a class and it was really crowded with desks right against one another. The students included adults and I was sitting on top of a student-desk. I told the class about getting punished as a group in 6th grade for laughing at ‘don’t play with balls on the playground’ but they didn’t find it funny.

I was managing the Astros (in their old 80s unis). Nolan Ryan was batting but the ump wouldn’t give him time so the first pitch was a strike. Ryan was upset because the umpire was crouching right over the plate. The pitcher threw a second pitch and Ryan reached over the ump and hit the ball–because his bat extended and he pulled it down the first base line. My view changed to be behind the plate and I saw the ball would stay fair. It changed again to the first base coach box as Ryan touched first and the first baseman was late tagging him. The ump at first turned his back to home plate and looked like he was going to call Ryan out–then looked at me, smiled, and signaled he was safe. Ryan fell to his hands and knees, winded. I decided we needed a pinch-runner and a pinch-home plate ump.

I climbed down a long tube into a submarine lit by blue light. Everyone (including me) was in black jackets with white turtleneck sweaters with HUGE collars. The boat needed repairs and then the captain (Kate Mulgrew from Star Trek Voyager) reported to me that the repair crew had removed six nuclear missiles–the entire missiles–and that we needed to call James Bond to keep the world from ending, but no one had a phone.

I was with a group of people on top of a skyscraper of scaffolding. It was a game show/contest. A woman was handed a football and she needed to get to the bottom before everyone else. She could go however she wanted but they would be descending ladders. A whistle blew and she jumped onto wooden diagonal beams and raced down. She was wearing high-heeled shoes. At some point she tripped, fell, and started bouncing off levels until she hit the bottom level. She got there first and thought she’d won. The others kept going down to the ground rather than the last platform. There was a big argument over who won while they put the woman in a body cast.
