Dreams – 10/24

10/24/24: I was in a tiny black electric vehicle with two other people. I was driving on a street in Davenport, except it was the alley behind my mom’s house and I was having to dodge trucks and traffic–and there was room for a parked vehicle, me, and oncoming traffic. All the houses were on hills and I noticed my grandparents’ house was one of them except it was double-sized and all of the houses were white with green trim.

10/24/23: I was at a conference but didn’t want to go to see the speaker so I was standing alone–everything was a shade of red. I started walking back to my hotel room when Joe Huber [who I haven’t talked to in 20 years] started walking with me and explaining how he was going to invent something called ‘the internet’. He vanished when I started singing ‘Close to You’ by The Carpenters. I reached my room and there were carts there stacked with dirty dishes and uneaten food. I went into the room and Charlie and Art Bowden were in there [I talked to them last night in real life]. Suddenly I was driving my Challenger–it was night and I was on a coastal road that didn’t have streetlights.

10/24/22: I was in an all-white area getting ready to run a track race/sprint. Everything was white–the ground, sky, etc–and there were walls all around. Then a door opened in one of the walls and I lost concentration because the people who came into the track/room were debating whether the Lakers would be able to do anything other than have LeBron and Bronny James throw alley-oops to each other and what the optimal arch/angle for the tosses would be.

10/24/21: I went away on a trip, came back and found my “boss” was running a big group social out on a football field across the street from the business to teach them how to line judge volleyball. I didn’t say anything. They were lined up in groups doing calisthenics and sprints. I found a yellow flag buried in a snow bank and realized it was cold out and everyone out there was in shorts and tank tops. Eventually they all lined up and became a human Rube Goldberg machine and passed the smallest employee around the field until she reached a group that was a ‘human catapult’ and that group threw her over another group supposed to be a volleyball net. The boss said, “Great, that’s volleyball!”
