Dreams – 10/16
10/16/24: [fragment only] The dream disappeared–but I woke up with Rick Astley’s “Together Forever” in my mind. The ONLY other thing I remember is my son Michael was in the dream.
10/16/23: I was in a parking lot, a lot like North Market in Columbus. I was with Julie and we had just eaten food and I thought I recognized a former VB player getting into a car. The car started to drive in the parking lot and a window rolled down and it was “Natalie”–she’d changed her name from “Nicole” as a graduation present to herself (but in real life her name is Naomi). She was with two friends and her parents in a compact car and they were heading to drop the girls off at a dorm since they were freshmen (in real life, she is now married and 30). I said your parents must be sad and they started crying and I cried because ‘my son starts college today, too’. Then I realized we were in Nebraska and we did a hunting call “Hawkeyes suck! Hawkeyes suck!” and that brought lots of people wearing white and red into the street. Everyone left and I told Julie we needed to go where I could say “Let’s go, State!”
10/16/22: I was walking in a city when I realized everyone around me was moving like they were citizens of San Andreas in Grand Theft Auto. I then got a text message from my former athletic director that was my mission–that someone from my team was trying to teach refs how to officiate properly and that I needed to stop the person.
10/16/21 #1: I was in my daughter’s apartment, but everything was reversed/mirror image. I was watching her answer work emails and she had two different email in-boxes. She organized everything by which hashtag (#) she was using in the message/the other person used. The two she had in big font were ‘#hamburger’ and ‘#vacation’ but I was scared to ask why.
10/16/21 #2: I was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car. Eric. C was in the back seat. Someone else was driving. We were eating Sonic. There was a big mountain to the left with a HUGE Sonic billboard on it. I kept commenting about how tasty my Big Kahuna Burger was [clearly from Pulp Fiction] but the other two wouldn’t talk. Then I realized the mountains were a fake backdrop actually just a couple feet high and that we were filming a Sonic commercial.
