Don’t be crabby (paint a crab instead!)
Hi friends! As you probably know I am doing the Inktober challenge again this year where you create a painting every day during the month of October. This time I wanted to use some neglected ink: My Dr. Ph Martins Bombay India ink, Brusho dye powders, Inktense blocks, and acrylic markers. I had a blast and made this:

You can find a real-time narrated version of this tutorial in Critique Club now: For $5 a month, you get 90+ real-time mixed-media lessons (with 2 more added EVERY month) monthly creative prompts, and the ability to upload your art for personalized feedback from me. Supplies (affiliate links used)
Arrtx Acrylic paint markers (optional)
Salt
A palette for inks (a ceramic plate or ice cube tray will work well-Dollar Tree has both so you don’t have to use your food-safe ones)
Stamps or found objects for texture (bubble wrap, burlap, netting, etc if you don’t have any stamps)

Feel free to substitute for other inks or pastels you have on hand. Part of the fun is finding new ways to use the supplies you have! Have you been taking part in Inktober? If so, how are you holding up? I hope you find some time to pay with your supplies today and til next time happy crafting!
