Does Britain Really Have “Talent”?

Does Britain really have “talent”?  Ever since reading Matthew Syed’s Bounce: The Myth of Talent and the Power of Practice, I hear the word “talent” everywhere.  I always respond to that stimulus in thinking, “They have it all wrong.  It’s not they are talented but they have practiced harder and for longer.”

I wish pundits/ judges would debunk talent myths and stop sprouting the same lore about talent.
